How does this work?
I start every new client relationship with a one hour on-site consultation.
After the consultation, I will have the insight I need to provide you with a project proposal. This could be a full-scale design, ongoing garden coaching/consulting, or project implementation support.
Once you have accepted the proposal, I work with you to schedule a ½ day site visit for me to take measurements, perform a full site analysis, and begin the concept design.
When appropriate I will present 2-3 layout options for consideration, and work with you to chose. Once the layout is solidified, I create the planting plan.
Four to six weeks after the ½ day site visit, I will present your final design, incorporate any additional feedback/edits, and provide you with a PDF of a color, to-scale CAD drawing. Hardcopies are available upon request.

What happens after the design is complete?

Once the design is complete, it is yours to proceed however you like. If you have an established relationship with a landscape contractor you are welcome to work with that person to implement the design. I am also happy to provide referrals to qualified contractors.
I provide design implementation services to ensure the installation stays true to the design and achieves your goals:
Installation bid collection
Contractor coordination through project completion
Plant procurement + placement
Materials sourcing
Outdoor furniture, art, and accessories procurement
Should I prepare for the initial consultation?

We will spend the hour walking through your outdoor space. I will ask questions about your vision, existing problem areas, your style preferences, your gardening desires, and much more.
I love to help with plant and weed identification, answer maintenance or pruning questions, troubleshoot unhealthy plants, and brainstorm design solutions. By the end of the consultation, we will have achieved some solid early concept creation for the design.
You can prepare by putting some thought into a few questions:
What are you able to invest in your landscape over the next 1-3 years ($10-15K, $15-30K, $30K+)?
How do you want your yard to feel (cozy, airy, cool, sunny, colorful, wild, dark and stormy, moody, modern, orderly, private)?
What would you like to do outside that you can’t do now (sit, dine, have parties, play, garden, sunbath, soak, work)?
Do you have a social media presence?

Nope!
